Silent Sundays

These are pictures of my brother on his first tour in Iraq back in 2004. He has already done a second tour since but I like these pictures of him. He is a medic in the U.S. Army currently attending P.A. school as a Sargent.

My brother is the one sleeping about to get water dumped on him. He worked in the medical tent and I believe this was the Physician of his tent.

Please join us for Silent Sundays!

Thanks, Ivy! You were on the ball this week before me! :0)

Love these pics of your brother. My husband served in 2003 in Saudi Arabia, just in the very beginnings of the war. I have much respect for soldiers and their families!

Thanks for sharing...looking forward to seeing more tomorrow!

Blessings!

Oh wow I didn't know your husband served. Is he currently in the military?

Ivy, I just realized that you have been responding to my comments here all along, so I've been going back through and reading them! LOL See how much I pay attention?

My husband served for 8 years and is now serving in the National Guard. Although I hated when he was away, those years were very good ones and I kind of miss being an active part of the military. We lived in Wichita Falls for about 4 months during his training...are you near there? I remember there being a cowboy church about an hour away, we used to pass it on our way to somewhere else, and I always thought it was neat. I grew up on the East Coast...far from any cowboys! :0)

Blessings!
