Juicy-Berry Smoothie
- 3/4 - 1 C. Frozen Mixed Berries (blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries is the mixture I use)
- 1/2 C. Plain Organic Yogurt
- 1-2 TBLS. PomWonderful Juice (100% pomegranate juice)
- 1/2-3/4C. orange juice
- 1/2 TBLS. ground flax seed
- Throw all ingredients into a blender and grind it all up!
- I just throw things together so measurements are estimates - play with the amount until you get the desired taste. Also the flax seed is added as a health benefit (great for your skin) and you won't taste it in your drink.
- Makes 1 serving (about 10-12 oz.)

I am so excited about trying this recipe! It's smoothie season again, and the fresh berries are starting to come in. Woo Hoo!
By the way... I added you to my blog list. Hope that's OK. And I was reading some older posts (as I have been teaching writing a whole lot recently instead of enjoying it on the internet), and I LOVE Dannah Gresh's Secret Keeper book. Very, very good stuff about modesty, especially for middle school girls. I used to use it when I spoke a lot about modesty.
